Volumerate.com New Policy in an Effort to Improve Customer Satisfaction

clock December 19, 2009 04:20 by author alex
We will soon be implementing some new policies in an effort to improve customer satisfactions and order processing speeds. We value your business and hope to see you order from us again soon.

Here is a brief overview of the new policies for ordering from VolumeRate.com:

- We would like for customers to limit the number of different products on each order to about 4 to 8 different SKU's.

The reason for this is we have seen in the past delays on orders that had a lot of different items. Those orders are sometimes processed slower because we have to collect the products from different factories for each item, and in some cases the factories do not have all the items prepared already and we have to wait for them to manufacture the items, the more types of items you order, the higher the chance of delays like that. So from now on we hope that you limit your orders to 4 to 8 or less SKU’s per order.

- Due to customs, lately there has been a crackdown on items that may have copyright problems such as Nintendo and iPhone products, etc.

If you wish to purchase these items, please contact us first before ordering so we can see what can be done about delivering your order. More importantly though, if the quantity is not very large (less than 20 or 50 pieces), we recommend you purchase these items through our retail site, www.dealextreme.com. Their orders ship via Airmail which will rarely have these customs problems.

Although there changes are not huge, we still wanted to notify you about changes to our policies. If you have any questions about this or anything regarding VolumeRate.com please contact us at www.volumerate.com/support

Thank you for your time, we look forward to serving you soon!

Sincerely,

Volumerate.com Support

Dingoo A320 2.8" LCD Emulator Game Console Product Introduction

clock February 22, 2009 12:27 by author alex

We directly requested the sample from the manufacturer for this newly issued portable game console ---- Dingoo-A320, the one which fitting somewhere between a Game Boy Micro and a PSP.

For the first impression is this item is with a decent package box which stongly impressed us that seems the manufacturer wants to set this up as a decent item, and they were so proudly announced that they designed this console from the very beginning to the end. (Officially saying the defective rate is controlled within 1%, and mostly can fixed the problem locally which inspired us that as a seller will have less after sales problem)

(as you may see, the package was in white box, but nowadays, package will be all changed into black box)

After unfolding the package, we can feel that the manufacturer indeed put extra attention on the quality, the item itself is very clean with no messy finger prints compared other mobiles, high-end product produced in China. (Or simply we get a good sample)

We can select entertainment functions like listening to music, reading eBooks or watching movies. We may even hook the Dingoo up to a TV and watch the stored movies on a big screen. But, the biggest function is this is a portable gaming device.

Anyway, more info at our store: http://www.volumerate.com/details.vr/sku.20217

Entertainment Software Association Announces 2009 E3 Expo

clock October 25, 2008 23:39 by author alex

Los Angeles to Host Video Game Industry Event in June

Washington, DC – October 22, 2008 – The 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) will take place from June 2-4, 2009, at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC), the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) announced today. The expanded E3 will welcome all qualified computer and video game industry audiences, including international and U.S.-based media, analysts, retailers, developers and business partners to preview the latest in interactive entertainment and technology.

“Video games are the fastest growing and most compelling sector of the entertainment industry. And, this upgraded event will reflect the growth, innovation and excitement of our industry,” said Michael D. Gallagher, CEO of the ESA, which represents US computer and video game publishers and organizes the annual event. “The breadth, scope and quality of the changes made to the show will make E3 the must-attend event of the year.”

“The E3 Expo will be the pre-eminent North American gaming show next year. The new, larger event is better for industry leaders and for serious gamers,” commented John Riccitiello, CEO of Electronic Arts.

After conducting both qualitative and quantitative research, ESA officials stated changes were necessary to better meet the needs of both exhibitors and attendees— these changes include increased booth sizes, increased qualified audiences, and an intensified focus on reinforcing the high-octane growth, innovation, and captivating entertainment that are driving the computer and video game industry.

"The video game business will be twice as big in 2009 as it was in 2006 when we had the last real E3 Expo - so get ready for some fireworks!" said Laurent Detoc, president of Ubisoft North America. "The changes made will ensure that the 2009 E3 Expo conveys the best of what makes us proud as entertainment leaders."

ESA also said IDG World Expo, whose principals have operated E3 since its inception in 1995, will produce the event with the ESA.

The event will be open to ESA members and non-members alike. Organizers noted they are expanding the list of companies eligible to participate. Companies involved in console, PC, online, and mobile game publishing and developing, qualified business partners, as well as makers of video game hardware and peripherals can exhibit.

Additional details, including registration, hotel and travel accommodations, and media credentialing, will be forthcoming in the next few weeks and will be available at www.e3expo.com.

The Entertainment Software Association is the U.S. association dedicated to serving the business and public affairs needs of companies publishing interactive games for video game consoles, handheld devices, personal computers, and the Internet. The ESA offers services to interactive entertainment software publishers including a global anti-piracy program, owning the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), business and consumer research, federal and state government relations, First Amendment and intellectual property protection efforts. The steps are as follow:

What we need from customers to make it happen:
